Getting Shots
We have a wide range of cameras and equipment we will be using, therefore we have to decide which is the best camera/equipment to use for each shot.
GoPro Shots
The GoPro is a very versatile camera and has an excellent wide angle range. I feel this works extremely well with our CCTV shots.
Getting high angle shots
CCTV shots are usually very high angled to avoid vandalism and to get a good view on it's point of view. I felt as if this didn't have to be entirely true in our case as the story is set in 2017 and cameras are everywhere, therefore would stand well against damage and be very well made and controlling pieces of equipment. However, for the shots that I did plan to have high-angled, we had to use very amateur techniques, i.e.tape and plant pots.
Here is how I achieved some of my high-angle shots.
Camera Placement;
Here I attached my GoPro to a mono-pod and planted the base of the mon-pod in a plant pot placed in my porch. With The wide angle lens, I knew the camera would pick up everything we needed for the shot.
Camera Placement;
Here I placed the GoPro on a flat base which it clips on to via the "J-shaped quick release mount" I ordered online. I then taped the base to the wall as it balanced on the frame of my door. Again, I knew the wide angle lens would pick everything up.

Dash Cam Clips;
I feel the dash cam was a necessary aspect of our trailer. It would establish the sense of two sides, the rebels and the police, and would fit in well with our theme of CCTV shots. I again, used the flat base to hold the camera, but to balance it out I used tape to hold it still, to avoid any wobble, as well as the white "anti-shake" attachment I purchased online. To hold the base to the dashboard, I used a double sided Velcro-adhesive sheet which worked perfectly.

Lighting Shots;
The majority of shots we got, were naturally lit. However, there is one shot that I wanted to include which required manual lighting which I was inspired to create from a music video. (below)
Here is the shot I re-created using my Canon 600D;
